Oh, that's bad if it's true. I remember how I had received the news. You certainly sound like you are handling this better than I had way back in the past. Stay strong!
What a roller coaster ride. You certainly did not need this after everything you have just gone through and coming out relieved and all. Hope you get things resolved alright. Good Luck!
Thanks everyone - your support means a lot. What a place to find yourself! I always thought I would know exactly what I would do if I found myself here, but it's not as black & white as it seems from the outside (nothing really is, right?).
The meeting with the young lady went very well; we had a good talk. I ended up just telling him I knew everything, which was actually quite cathartic (I like to quash my emotions so that I don't have this sort of stuff to deal with...ahem). We've talked quite a bit and I haven't made up my mind what I want to do yet. I know what I SHOULD do, but it's still a difficult decision and still up to me, regardless of friends' advice.
I'm sort of hopeful because he's talking to his dad at the moment, which means that he is actually serious about this. I know he's not a bad guy, he just did a bad thing (albeit a BIG bad thing) and that's the thing that's going to be hanging over us always if I decide to try and work this out.
It was really difficult to discuss, but I suppose that means that I'm more emotionally invested than I actually thought.
wow....good luck sorting that out. It's easy to say what you would do in any given circumstance - but when that circumstance actually happens, it's so hard to know what to do....

Oh! It sounds like someone is busted! I hope your "meeting" goes as smoothly as it can. ( I'm rather at a loss for words right now!) Stay strong.
Oh no :-( I'm really sorry to hear this... {{{hugs}}} hope it goes well (you're more courageous than I am)
eek! D sounded like he was getting serious with you talking about moving in and all. I'm so sorry about all this. :(
Good luck with the "talk"
Grrr! I am so sorry to hear this. I hope the meeting goes well too and remember that D is the loser!

You'll make the best decision for you! It sounds like you're handling things with diginity and grace. :)

Thank you for the mantra. I hope with all my heart you realize that mantra holds truth about you too. *hug*
